Deadly floods in Sudan kill at least 53, displace tens of thousands

03:06

At least 53 people have died due to recent heavy rains in Sudan. Floods have injured over 200 people, displaced more than 20,000, and caused the collapse of over 2,000 houses. Torrential rains impact Sudan annually from May to October, but this year's effects are expected to be worse as millions are pushed into flood zones by the ongoing war.
