The world's first 3D printing technology for medical equipment, developed in southwest China's Chengdu City, is already in use in 16 provinces and regions across China. By printing out 3D fixation support, such as plaster casts that are specially designed and based on real-time data for injuries, experts at a leading medical research institute say the new technology is speeding up recovery. New medical equipment, such as upper limb recovery robots featuring interactive games, is also entertaining patients. CGTN's Zheng Yuqiong was there talking to experts and professionals.
