An exhibition on the art of ancient Chinese lacquerware has opened at the Zhejiang Provincial Museum in Hangzhou. Thanks to the generous donations of Cao Qiyong and his wife, the exhibition showcases the enduring beauty of ancient Chinese lacquerware to visitors, through 162 pieces or sets of exquisite artworks in different colors, shapes and decorations. Among them, 144 have been identified as national first-class or second-class cultural relics in China.
