Bamboo weaving is a traditional handicraft in China with a long history. The basic technique involves using thin strips of bamboo to create a woven pattern. The strips are soaked in water to make them more pliable and then woven together to form the desired shape.

Today, bamboo handicrafts are still popular in China, capturing the hearts of the younger buyers with modern designs. As accessories, they are biodegradable and lightweight. As practical items and furniture such as baskets, chairs and tables, they are both decorative and durable.
