From August 13 to 19, the Xin Tsing Friends' Beijing-Hong Kong Students Tsinghua Summer Music Camp, organized in celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, brought together nearly 30 students from Tsinghua University and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. As they prepare for a grand concert led by renowned violinist Lv Siqing, CGTN's Enoch Wong spoke with the music camp organizer Wallace Lee and participating students from Hong Kong about their unique experience of collaboration and discovery. From intense rehearsals to moments of shared understanding, this immersive camp highlights the power of music to bridge divides and foster lasting connections.
