General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee and Chinese President Xi Jinping held talks with General Secretary of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Vietnamese President To Lam at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday.

To Lam arrived in Beijing on Sunday to continue his state visit to China after a brief stop in south China's Guangzhou City earlier in the day. President Xi said that the Vietnamese president's visit to Guangdong Province as his first stop in China was of great significance.
