In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the award-winning dance drama "Ode to Hot-blooded Youth," was staged in Beijing on August 13 and 14. The performance captivated the capital's audience, delivering a powerful and emotionally stirring experience.

Set against the backdrop of 1930s Shanghai, the drama tells the story of passionate youths like Tian Han, Nie Er, and An E. Amidst a time of national crisis, they joined the Chinese Communist Party, using art to voice the struggles of the oppressed and rally the nation against the Japanese invasion of China. Their journey ultimately led to the creation of the "March of the Volunteers," which became the national anthem of China.
