A world-class astronomical observation base is taking shape in Lenghu, northwestern China's Qinghai Province, offering ideal conditions for stargazing. Located at the summit of Mount Saishiteng at an altitude of 4,200 meters, the base features multiple telescopes, some already installed and others still in the planning stages. CGTN reporter Zheng Yibing recently visited the Mozi surveying telescope, or WFST (Wide Field Survey Telescope), and filed this report from the base.
