The construction of a new jack-up offshore wind turbine installation vessel was completed at the Yangtze River Terminal in Qidong, east China's Jiangsu Province, on August 15. This offshore equipment is the first NG20000 wind power installation vessel, customized by COSCO shipping heavy industry shipyard in Qidong for a Danish shipping company. The new-generation vessel boasts the highest technical specifications in the world and features a methanol dual-fuel system along with a battery energy storage system, maximizing energy savings and emission reduction.
