On August 20, the newly renovated China Railway Museum reopened in Beijing during the students' summer vacation. The floors of the museum were cleaned and repainted, greeting visitors with the feeling of walking on the red carpet. Most of the locomotives and passenger trains on display were also cleaned and repainted, giving them a brand new look. Founded in 1978, the China Railway Museum is a national-level institution that is responsible for the collection, preservation, display and exhibition of rail-related cultural relics, and conducting scientific research.
