China has criticized the European Union's additional tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles as unfair competition, and has vowed measures to defend the interests of Chinese firms. Liu Baocheng, Dean of the Center for International Business Ethics at the University of International Business and Economics, says the additional tariff will directly harm EU consumers and the supply chain, as well as hinder the industry's innovation drive.
