Kylian Mbappé has escalated his financial dispute with former club Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) by appealing to the Ligue de Football Professionnelle's legal committee.
According to Le Monde, Kylian Mbappé claims PSG owes him 55 million Euros ($61.19 million) in unpaid wages, with total bonuses potentially reaching 100 million Euros ($111.26 million).
Mbappé, who moved to Real Madrid this summer after seven years with PSG, has clashed with the club's management and main shareholder, Qatar Sports Investments, over the withheld payments. The dispute has now been referred to France's professional football league, with Mbappé's legal team prepared to take the matter to an employment tribunal if necessary.
PSG maintains that their actions were justified and negotiations continue.
