Two-time US Open champion Naomi Osaka is preparing for her return to the Grand Slam stage after being granted a wild card entry into this year's US Open.
The 27-year-old won her first major title at Flushing Meadows in 2018 and claimed that title again in 2020. She is one of the most dominant players on hard courts, having also won the Australian Open twice.
After giving birth to a daughter last year, the Japanese has been working to regain the form that once made her world number one.
Although she lost in the Cincinnati Open qualifiers last week, Osaka has high hopes in rediscovering her championship-winning form when the tournament begins on August 26th.
