01:50

East China's Shandong Province is also known as the "Land of Qi and Lu." Qi and Lu were neighboring powers that rose and fell mainly on the Shandong Peninsula around 3,000 years ago, when China was ruled by the feudalistic Zhou Dynasty.

Join CGTN's Dean Yang to read about the history of Qi, and the man behind Qi's rise to preeminence.
