In the exclusive interview with CGTN, Clare Daly, a former Member of the European Parliament argues Europe needs global cooperation to tackle climate change, not divisive rhetoric against China. The push for "de-risking" is misguided – China is the EU's biggest trading partner, and Europe gains more from this relationship than China does. Instead of escalating a new great power struggle, Europe should focus on international law and friendly relations for the well-being of all.
