On April 20, 2013, a massive earthquake struck Lushan County in Sichuan Province. A month later, President Xi Jinping visited the devastated area. One touching photograph shows him embracing a baby boy, Luo Juncheng, in the tent where his family had been temporarily housed. Over a decade later, Juncheng, now at primary school, feels that in that moment he established a special bond with the president.
