China has unveiled a series of deepwater oil and gas field discoveries in its offshore areas since the beginning of 2024.
In February, China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) announced the discovery of the Bozhong 26-6 oilfield, the world's largest metamorphic rock oilfield.
