Air defense sirens sounded in northern Israel early Sunday morning as Hezbollah launched large-scale attacks.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant declared an emergency in the country for the next 48 hours in response to the attacks.
Hezbollah says it will take "some time" to complete the response to the killing of its senior commander, Fuad Shukr.
