The Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) Annual Conference 2025 is tentatively scheduled to be held from March 25 to 28 in Boao, in south China's Hainan Province, BFA chairman Ban Ki-moon announced on Monday.
The world economy is recovering slowly, regional conflicts are escalating, and the implementation of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals is progressing slowly, Ban said.
Asia plays a crucial role in maintaining world peace and promoting global development, he said, adding that the 2025 annual conference will focus on Asia's development while closely monitoring major global issues, aiming to foster greater international cooperation and seek common development for a shared future.
