The 2024 "Xinjiang is a Wonderful Land" intangible cultural heritage exhibition highlights the unique traditions of Xinjiang through its featured "Intangible Cultural Heritage Market." With 16 specially curated stalls, the market offers visitors an authentic space to purchase locally crafted intangible cultural heritage products. Adding to the experience, a live-streaming segment allows for a broader reach, connecting online audiences with the rich cultural heritage of the region.
This year marks the fourth edition of the exhibition, held in Korla, Bayingol Mongolian Autonomous Prefecture, in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region from August 22 to 26. Official data shows that Bayingol is home to over 100 intangible heritage businesses, including shops, workshops, and family-run enterprises. This year's exhibition is the largest in the event's history, serving as an important showcase of the region's rich cultural heritage.
