CGTN's Jiao Yang spoke with Kalinga Seneviratne, a research fellow at Shinawatra University in Bangkok. Seneviratne spent many years as a journalist covering Pacific island countries. They discussed these nations' real security challenges and their role in the geopolitical landscape.
