Live: Coffee with Ambassadors – Future of China-Tanzania relationship

The Forum on China and Africa Cooperation is scheduled to be held in Beijing from September 4 to 6. This gathering follows the previous one in Beijing in 2018. This year's forum is themed "Joining Hands to Advance Modernization and Build a High-Level China-Africa Community with a Shared Future." A series of activities, including the opening ceremony, a welcoming banquet and gala performance, high-level meetings, and the Conference of Chinese and African Entrepreneurs, will take place. Bilateral meetings will also be held on the sidelines.

Ahead of the event, CGTN hosts a series of roundtable discussions with officials from Africa and business leaders who have witnessed the development of the friendship between China and Africa. This episode focuses on Tanzania, which celebrates six decades of ties with China this year. Joining us at the roundtable are the Ambassador of Tanzania to China, H.E. Khamis Mussa Omar, Tanzania Broadcasting Corporation News Anchor Kanky Mwaigomole, and senior research fellow of the China-Africa Institute, He Wenping. The discussion focuses on common development between both countries, as well as China and Africa friendship and opportunities ahead.
