The Israel Defense Forces and Shin Bet domestic security agency said on Tuesday that they have rescued a 52-year-old hostage from the Gaza Strip.

The hostage, identified as Qaid Farhan Alkadi, a member of the Bedouin community of Rahat city in southern Israel, they said, adding that the man was released in a military operation in southern Gaza and is in "stable condition."
