The Kremlin said on Tuesday that inflation remained above target and that the Russian central bank and the government were working to reduce inflationary pressures.
The bank hiked its key interest rate by 200 basis points to 18 percent last month, its highest level in more than two years, and vowed to continue tightening until inflation rates come down.
