March 4 marked the opening of the second plenary session of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the country's top advisory body. The annual meeting, together with that of the National People's Congress, are known as the Two Sessions which highlight China's political calendar each year. What's on the agenda this year? How will each CPPCC member meet their responsibilities? And how could this year's proposals lead China's whole-process people's democracy on a new journey?
