More than 33,000 deaths have been caused in Gaza after the past six months of conflict, and the humanitarian crisis is only getting worse. Over 2 million people trapped in the Gaza Strip are highly dependent on outside humanitarian groups for daily necessities and medical services. But despite continuous calls from the international community, relief supplies are still hindered, and aid personnel have been repeatedly attacked. What are the main difficulties of humanitarian work in Gaza? Will Israel's possible military action in Rafah bring about a greater humanitarian crisis? To answer these questions and more, we are joined by Christpher Lockyear, Secretary General of Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF), one of the largest independent medical and humanitarian relief organizations in the world.
