The 33rd Summer Olympic Games officially kicks off Friday night in Paris, France in a bold and unique opening ceremony with the center of Paris itself serving as the stadium and city residents as the spectators. Observers along the river Seine will watch as over ten thousand athletes arrive on boats up a 6-kilometer course to the final destination.
