After kicking off his third season with Al Nassr, Cristiano Ronaldo revealed to Portuguese channel NOW that he may retire at the Saudi Arabian club.

"I don't know if I will retire soon, in two or three years, but probably I will retire here at Al Nassr," the 39-year-old said. "I'm very happy at this club, I feel good in this country, too. I'm happy to play in Saudi Arabia and I want to continue."

Meanwhile, Ronaldo said he wants to continue playing for Portugal, which made the quarterfinals at Euro 2024 in Germany before losing to France.

"Right now, what I want is to be able to help the national team in their upcoming matches," Ronaldo said. "We have the Nations League ahead of us and I would really like to play."

Many superstars have retired to become coaches, but Ronaldo claims to have no such intentions at this time.

"At the moment, I'm not thinking about being a coach of the first team or any team," he said. "It doesn't even cross my mind, I've never thought about it. I don't see my future going through that. I see myself doing other things outside of football, but only God knows what the future holds."

Al Nassr beat Al Fayha 4-1 at Al Majma'ah Sports City on Tuesday, securing their first win of the 2024-25 Saudi Pro League season.

Ronaldo set up Talisca to score Al Nassr's first goal in the fifth minute and then extended their lead to 2-0 by drilling a free kick into the net in first-half stoppage time.

Marcelo Brozovic added the third goal for Al Nassr in the 85th minute. And although Fashon Sakal found the net two minutes later for Al Fayha to close the gap back to two goals, Talisca notched his second of the game in the 95th minute to seal a big win for the visiting side.
