At this year's Beijing auto show, new-energy vehicles（NEV） are under the limelight, accounting for more than 80% of the debut models, and the number of NEVS on display has also reached a new record high. Besides the overwhelming number of domestic brands, overseas carmakers are also swarming to the show for more investment opportunities and technological cooperation.  What are the highlights of this year's auto show?  What is behind China's NEV boom?  And how can the world set aside protectionism and improve cooperation to tackle climate change?
