A Chinese hybrid grass technology is providing an economical and environmentally-friendly path towards poverty alleviation in the Pacific Island countries. The technology, known as Juncao, was invented in the 1980s by Lin Zhanxi, a professor at China's Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University. CGTN anchor Hou Na spoke to Professor Lin's daughter, Lin Dongmei, deputy director of the China National Engineering Research Center of Juncao Technology, to learn more about the technology and its practices in the Pacific Island countries.
