The recent tremendous popularity of the video game Black Myth: Wukong has boosted tourism in north China's Shanxi Province. Reports indicate that 27 of the game's 36 filming locations are situated here, including the Little Western Paradise, the Hanging Temple, and the Wooden Pagoda of Yingxian County. Shanxi, known as the "treasure trove of ancient Chinese architecture," boasts 28,000 ancient buildings.

If you are a noodle fanatic, don't miss Shanxi cuisine. The province offers a range of noodle dishes prepared using various cooking methods, such as boiling, steaming, and stir-frying, making Shanxi a "paradise" for noodle enthusiasts. And also don't forget to try it with Shanxi's representative mature vinegar.
