China have once again demonstrated their supremacy at the Paris Paralympics, with their para-athletes shining brightly and claiming gold medals across various events in the French capital.
At the South Paris Arena, the table tennis pair of Mao Jingdian and Zhao Shuai made history by becoming the first-ever Paralympic mixed doubles gold medallists, defeating fellow Chinese Peng Weinan and Xiong Guiyan in three straight games in the inaugural XD17 final.
Meanwhile, Gu Xiaodan and Pan Jiamin captured the women's doubles WD10 gold, while Cao Ningning and Feng Panfeng secured the men's doubles MD8 gold.

On the athletics field, the Chinese contingent continued their winning streak, with Li Yingli clinching the gold in the women's shot put F37 event with a throw of 13.45 meters. Her experienced teammate Mi Na secured the silver with a distance of 13.19 meters.
Furthermore, Zhao Yuping made headlines by breaking the world record in the women's javelin F13 final with an impressive throw of 47.06 meters, claiming her first Paralympic gold medal in the process.

In the women's discus F57 final, Xu Mian won silver with a personal best of 32.81 meters, while Algeria's Nassima Saifi took gold with a Paralympic record. He Shanshan won bronze in the women's 400m T11 as Namibia's Lahja Ishitile claimed gold. In archery, Chen Minyi retained her gold in the women's individual W1, defeating Czechia's Sarka Musilova.
As the third day of the Games came to a close, China stand strong at top of the medal standings with 20 gold, 15 silver, and 7 bronze medals.
