In his reply to a letter by African scholars, Chinese President Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of the "Dar es Salaam Consensus." The consensus was jointly released by academics from 50 countries in the Tanzanian city in March. It aims to offer approaches and solutions to major global issues and challenges.
