Chinese athletes continued their remarkable performances at the 2024 Summer Paralympic Games in Paris by securing another 13 gold, 12 silver and four bronze medals on Sunday.
Yang Yue and Yao Juan stood next to each other on the women's discus throw F64 podium as the champion and runner-up respectively. Yang Yue set season best by reaching 42.39 meters in her second attempt in the final, beating Yao's 41.98 meters.
Shi Yiting won the women's 200-meter T36 gold after finishing the race in 27.5 seconds, her personal best of career.
Zou Lijuan won the women's javelin throw F34 title for China and broke the world record of the event with 22.55 meters. Her compatriot Zuo Caiyun earned the silver with a personal-best of 19.44 meters.

Chinese swimmers have carried on their dominance at the 2024 Paris Para Games as well. Yang Hong won the men's 100-meter breaststroke SB6 final in 1:18.34, breaking his own best record.
Xu Haijiao and Yang Guanglong joined hands on the podium of the women's 200-meter individual medley SM8 event. Xu claimed the gold medal after finishing the competition with a time of 2:22.54, 0.96 seconds faster than Yang.
Cai Liwen and Li Guizhi brought home the gold and silver medals of the women's 100-meter backstroke S11 event. Cai won the final with a time of 1:14.02 and Li finished 2.15 seconds behind her.
Chinese paddlers added two doubles golds on Sunday. Feng Panfeng and Zhou Ying came back to defeat Yuttajak Glinbancheun and Wijittra Jaion of Thailand in the mixed doubles XD7 final. Liao Keli and Yan Shuo beat Thai pair Rungroj Thainiyom and Phisit Wangphonphathanasiri to win the men's doubles MD14 final.
