Nestled in the heart of northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, Bosten Lake, whose name means "oasis" in the Uygur language, stands as China's largest inland freshwater lake. Covering an area of more than 1,600 square kilometers, this stunning body of water was once known as the "Western Sea" in ancient China.
Bosten Lake is not only rich in fishing resources, but is also surrounded by over 400 square kilometers of lush reeds. The area offers a wide range of water sports and activities, drawing visitors from near and far to experience its natural beauty and vibrant aquatic adventures.
