Deepening China-Africa friendship with a 'digital bridge'

China and African countries have worked together to accelerate the development of e-commerce, connecting African vendors and Chinese consumers and providing them with more tangible benefits. In 2022, the e-commerce turnover in Africa was about $32.5 billion. It is expected to hit almost $60 billion by 2027. With a combined population of over 1.4 billion, African countries are embracing new opportunities brought by the digital economy, advancing China-Africa economic and cultural relations to a new level.
