No matter how the international situation changes, China-Africa friendship will continue to be inherited and strengthened, Chinese President Xi Jinping said on Wednesday when giving a toast at a welcome banquet for international guests who are in Beijing for the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC).
Rooted in traditional friendship and embodying win-win cooperation, the China-Africa community with a shared future has set a "glorious example" for building a community with a shared future for mankind, Xi told guests and called for the over 2.8 billion Chinese and African people to work together in the same direction and make greater contributions to the cause.
