Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has pardoned 30 people convicted of protest-related crimes, his office said on Wednesday.
"Among those pardoned are seven women and 23 men. Most of the convicts are parents of minor children," Lukashenko's office said in a statement, calling the move a "humane gesture."
"They got a chance to return to normal life, family and work," it said without giving details on who the people were.
