Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris announced a 36-million-euro (about $39.8 million) support package for Ukraine on Wednesday during a joint news conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
A cooperation agreement between Ukraine and Ireland was also signed on Wednesday, according to the official website of the President of Ukraine.
"Ireland will continue to provide long-term political, security and financial support as well as humanitarian assistance to Ukraine," the website said.
