The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) has kicked off in Beijing. In an exclusive interview with CGTN's Tian Wei, UN Secretary-General António Guterres said that China-Africa cooperation is the symbol of South-South cooperation, which provides important opportunities for African development. For example, it helps bridge the gaps in infrastructure, education and aid to African countries in carrying out the SDGs.
