The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) is being held in Beijing from September 4 to 6. The millennium-old capital, Beijing, once again witnessed another significant moment in the history of China-Africa friendly relations. CGTN interviewed some people in Africa to get their views on China-Africa cooperation in various fields, including trade and business, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, environmental protection and sister-city partnerships.

In this episode, people from Tanzania, Tunisia, Nigeria, and Morocco shared their expectations for future China-Africa cooperation. Cooperation in the energy sector, infrastructure development, and economic and trade fields were frequently mentioned. Paulinus Chukwudi Uzochukwu, a filmmaker from Nigeria, expressed that China and Nigeria should explore new investment prospects to promote infrastructure development and ensure that the energy sector receives the expected momentum and steady growth.
