Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Tuggar, who also serves in West Africa's regional body, the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) says common aspirations in the pursuit of the Belt and Road Initiative and a continental free trade area have brought China and Africa closer, and the West Africa region is ready to address global challenges through cooperation with China.
