The convening of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation (FOCAC) has attracted significant attention from the international community. Dennis Simon, a distinguished fellow at the Institute for China-America Studies, emphasized that China's assistance to Africa fundamentally differs from that of the West, focusing on helping Africa achieve lasting prosperity. Balew Demissie, a researcher at the Ethiopian Policy Studies Institute, praised Chinese President Xi Jinping for elevating China-Africa relations to a new era, describing it as an all-weather China-Africa community with a shared future. Joseph Lungu, special assistant to the President of Zambia, expressed his pleasure that President Xi, in his speech, highlighted China's willingness to collaborate with African countries in pursuing development.
