The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, or FOCAC, has charted a new course for high-level cooperation between the two sides. Chinese President Xi Jinping proposed 10 partnership actions during this year's summit. Taling Tene Rodrigue, vice director of the Center for Francophone Studies at Zhejiang Normal University, shares his insights on people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and Africa. He believes the two sides can enhance mutual understanding and promote cooperation based on common interests.
