China's commitment to opening up its market for Nigeria and African products is very important for me and for Nigeria because trade and investment are crucial for Africa," said Tunde Rahman, senior special assistant to Nigerian President Bola Tinubu. Diane Sayinzoga, Chief of the UN Trade and Development (UNCTAD) Regional Office for Africa, also emphasized the importance of skill and technology transfer between Chinese and African enterprises, noting that this cooperation will facilitate the modernization of the Global South.
