Super Typhoon Yagi made its second landfall in Guangdong Province on the night of September 6, forcing nearly one million people to evacuate. With winds exceeding 200 km per hour, the typhoon disrupted transport routes, closed schools, and suspended operations across both Guangdong and Hainan provinces. By Friday afternoon, the typhoon had forced the relocation of over 574,000 residents in Guangdong, including 407,064 in Zhanjiang. All 84,873 fishing boats in the province had sought shelter in harbors.
