Chinese President Xi Jinping delivered a keynote speech at the opening ceremony of the 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation in Beijing on September 5. CGTN Stringer interviewed Nigerian residents about their views on the speech and also their thoughts on China-Africa friendship. Duke Alamboye, president of the local Youth Organization, said he was encouraged by Xi's speech and was confident of stronger cooperation between China and Nigeria. He said that Nigeria and China need to go hand in hand and expressed hope of deeper exchanges between the two countries in various fields.
