The 2024 Summit for the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation has concluded in Beijing, while China and Nigeria have reaffirmed their commitment to deepening economic ties and bilateral cooperation. On September 4, the two countries' strategic partnership was elevated to a comprehensive strategic partnership. Key projects in infrastructure development and security are seen as pivotal in achieving Nigeria's economic goals under its Renewed Hope Agenda while also advancing the Belt and Road Initiative.
