More than 100 hectares of rice fields are ready for harvesting at Guojiawan Village in Yuping Dong Autonomous County, southwest China's Guizhou Province. Golden terraces stretch across the landscape, with the delightful aroma of ripening rice filling the air.

Guojiawan Village has a long-standing tradition of terrace rice cultivation. The rice grown there was honored as tribute rice during the reign of the Qianlong Emperor (1736-1796) during the Qing Dynasty.
