China Media Group (CMG) launched a series of multi-platform media initiatives related to the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) on Tuesday.

The group introduced a 100-episode series that authentically documents the pioneering spirit of the GBA people in advancing modernization at the press conference in Beijing.

CMG also worked with Radio Television Hong Kong and other organizations to launch a Mandarin recitation (speech) performance event for Hong Kong primary and secondary schools, aiming to promote a deeper understanding of the wealth and profound history of China among Hong Kong's youth and to enhance their Mandarin skills.

In addition, CMG also released a song titled "Blooming into the future" to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Macao's return to China.

CMG President Shen Haixiong said that the group is steadfastly fulfilling its mission as a national media outlet, working closely with the GBA cities to showcase its charm.

Wang Weizhong, governor of Guangdong Province, expressed his hope that the upcoming series would facilitate the GBA in accelerating its construction into a demonstration area of high-quality development.

Lee Ka-chiu, chief executive of China's Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (SAR), highlighted that CMG's "Radio the Greater Bay" has become an important channel for mutual understanding between Hong Kong and the mainland, which is welcomed by all walks of life in Hong Kong.

Ho Iat Seng, chief executive of the Macao SAR, expressed his wish that "CMG Radio the Greater Bay" would introduce more outstanding works to fully showcase Macao's achievements, unique advantages and development opportunities to the world.
